Kitchen Series

I have been using my black Epicurean cutting board for about 20 years now and I still love it just as much as the day I purchased it! It's lighweight, thin, doesn't stain (I cook a fair amount of beets), durable and has protected my favorite chef's knife extremely well. I have never put it in the dishwasher (I don't put any of my favortie kitchen tools in the dishwasher) and beyond the normal hot, soapy water I periodically use coarse salt and a lemon (after zesting and juicing). If I ever need another cutting board it too will be Epicurean. Big Bonus...made in the USA.

Love these paper composite products. Hearty, sturdy & they do not scar too easily. This pic is after about 8 months of FREQUENT use. It may look fairly scarred, but it’s quite superficial; you can’t really even feel the grooves when you run your hand over it - very much unlike alllll other plastic cutting boards/mats. Quality. Lasting. Heat safe. Dishwasher safe. We started with two basic cutting boards. Then very quickly went back for all the sizes, plus some of the same paper composite utensils. Threw out most of our old cutting boards. Excellent investment.

I love Epicurean's cutting boards. My first was purchased over 20 years ago and is my favorite board. I have had wooden boards split and plastic boards stain over the same time frame that my Epicurean board has been in use . There are fewer scratch marks on the Epicurean board and it is still in very good condition after decades. I recently decided that I wanted to replace my plastic boards and was delighted to see that Epicurean boards like the one I had were still being made. The color is not as rich as the color of my older, larger board (old on left, new on right), but I am happy to have two sizes that basically match. Would buy again.
